What is an Airbnb iCal link?

An iCal link (also called an iCal feed or ICS link) is a URL that exports your Airbnb booking calendar in a standard format. Any calendar application — Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, Outlook, or even Booking.com — can read this URL and display your reservations as events.

Your Airbnb iCal link is specific to one listing. It contains:

Keep it private: anyone with your iCal URL can see your reservation dates. Don't share it publicly. If exposed, you can regenerate a new link in Airbnb settings.

How to find your Airbnb iCal link

Airbnb makes the iCal export available from the Calendar view. Here's exactly where to find it:

  1. Log in to Airbnb and open your Hosting dashboard.
  2. Click on Calendar for the listing you want to export.
  3. Look for Availability settings or the gear icon → Sync calendars.
  4. Click Export calendar.
  5. Copy the URL shown. It starts with: https://www.airbnb.com/calendar/ical/.
One iCal link per listing: if you manage multiple Airbnb listings, each has its own iCal link. Repeat these steps for each listing you want to connect to an external calendar.

The URL looks like this: https://www.airbnb.com/calendar/ical/12345678.ics?s=abcdef123456

The number at the end is your listing ID. The s= parameter is a secret token — that's what keeps the link private.

What you can do with your Airbnb iCal link

Once you have the iCal URL, you can connect it to several tools:

Sync with Google Calendar

In Google Calendar → + next to "Other calendars" → From URL → paste your Airbnb iCal link → Add calendar. Your reservations will appear as events, refreshed every 12–24 hours.

Sync with Booking.com (prevent double bookings)

In Booking.com Extranet → Calendar sync → Add calendar → paste your Airbnb iCal link. Booking.com will block dates already reserved on Airbnb, reducing the risk of double bookings.

Sync with Apple Calendar or Outlook

Both Apple Calendar and Outlook support iCal subscriptions. Look for "Subscribe to calendar" or "Add from internet" options and paste your Airbnb URL.

Connect to a channel manager (BNB Pilot)

A channel manager like BNB Pilot consolidates your Airbnb, Booking.com and Vrbo calendars into a single view, detects conflicts in near real time, and automates guest communication — without the 12–24h delay of standard iCal refreshes.

iCal refresh delay: standard iCal subscriptions update every 12–24 hours depending on the receiving app. A booking made on Airbnb may take up to a day to block dates in Google Calendar or Booking.com. Plan a buffer between check-out and next check-in to cover this delay.
