Step 1 – Export your Airbnb iCal link

Airbnb generates one iCal feed per listing. Here is where to find it:

  1. Log in to Airbnb and open your Hosting dashboard.
  2. Click Calendar for the listing you want to sync.
  3. Go to Availability settingsSync calendars.
  4. Click Export calendar and copy the URL. It looks like https://www.airbnb.com/calendar/ical/12345678.ics.
One link per listing: if you manage multiple Airbnb listings, each has its own iCal link. Repeat this step for every listing you want to see in Google Calendar.

Step 2 – Add your Airbnb calendar to Google Calendar

Google Calendar can subscribe to any iCal feed using the "From URL" feature:

  1. Open Google Calendar (calendar.google.com) on a desktop browser.
  2. In the left sidebar, click + next to "Other calendars".
  3. Select From URL.
  4. Paste your Airbnb iCal URL and click Add calendar.
Mobile limitation: the "From URL" option is only available in the desktop browser. Once subscribed, the calendar will sync to your mobile Google Calendar app automatically.

You can rename the calendar (e.g. "Airbnb – My listing") and pick a color in Google Calendar settings for easier visibility.

Step 3 – Verify the sync

After subscribing, Google Calendar fetches your Airbnb reservations within a few minutes. To check it worked:

  1. Open Google Calendar and look for events from your Airbnb listing.
  2. If you have current or upcoming reservations, they should appear as events.
  3. If no events appear, wait 15–30 minutes and refresh the page.
Update frequency: Google Calendar refreshes external iCal feeds every 12–24 hours. New Airbnb bookings may take up to a day to appear. For real-time sync across all platforms, use a channel manager like BNB Pilot.

Troubleshooting: calendar not showing up?

Bonus – Block personal dates in Airbnb using Google Calendar

The sync above is one-way: Airbnb → Google Calendar. To also block dates in Airbnb when you have personal events, set up the reverse direction:

  1. In Google Calendar, open settings for the calendar you want to export → Integrate calendar.
  2. Copy the public iCal URL (note: this makes events on that calendar visible to anyone with the link — use a dedicated blocking calendar).
  3. In Airbnb → Calendar → Sync calendars → Import calendar.
  4. Paste the Google Calendar iCal URL and save. Airbnb will now block those dates.
Privacy tip: create a dedicated "Airbnb blocks" calendar in Google Calendar and make only that one public. Keep your main personal calendar private.
