Step 1 – Export your Airbnb iCal link
Airbnb generates one iCal feed per listing. Here is where to find it:
- Log in to Airbnb and open your Hosting dashboard.
- Click Calendar for the listing you want to sync.
- Go to Availability settings → Sync calendars.
- Click Export calendar and copy the URL. It looks like
https://www.airbnb.com/calendar/ical/12345678.ics.
Step 2 – Add your Airbnb calendar to Google Calendar
Google Calendar can subscribe to any iCal feed using the "From URL" feature:
- Open Google Calendar (calendar.google.com) on a desktop browser.
- In the left sidebar, click + next to "Other calendars".
- Select From URL.
- Paste your Airbnb iCal URL and click Add calendar.
You can rename the calendar (e.g. "Airbnb – My listing") and pick a color in Google Calendar settings for easier visibility.
Step 3 – Verify the sync
After subscribing, Google Calendar fetches your Airbnb reservations within a few minutes. To check it worked:
- Open Google Calendar and look for events from your Airbnb listing.
- If you have current or upcoming reservations, they should appear as events.
- If no events appear, wait 15–30 minutes and refresh the page.
Troubleshooting: calendar not showing up?
- Wrong URL: make sure you copied the full iCal URL starting with
https://www.airbnb.com/calendar/ical/. - No upcoming reservations: if your listing has no future bookings, no events will appear. Block a date manually in Airbnb to test.
- Feed stuck: unsubscribe in Google Calendar and re-add the URL to force a refresh.
Bonus – Block personal dates in Airbnb using Google Calendar
The sync above is one-way: Airbnb → Google Calendar. To also block dates in Airbnb when you have personal events, set up the reverse direction:
- In Google Calendar, open settings for the calendar you want to export → Integrate calendar.
- Copy the public iCal URL (note: this makes events on that calendar visible to anyone with the link — use a dedicated blocking calendar).
- In Airbnb → Calendar → Sync calendars → Import calendar.
- Paste the Google Calendar iCal URL and save. Airbnb will now block those dates.
Free tool: preview your Airbnb iCal link
Paste your Airbnb iCal URL below to verify it's working before adding it to Google Calendar.
BEGIN:VCALENDAR VERSION:2.0 PRODID:-//BNB Pilot//iCal helper//EN BEGIN:VEVENT DTSTART;VALUE=DATE:20240312 DTEND;VALUE=DATE:20240314 SUMMARY:Sample stay UID:demo-ical-bnb-pilot END:VEVENT END:VCALENDAR
The preview runs through the BNB Pilot backend to bypass CORS restrictions and anonymise the feed.
Sync in real time – BNB Pilot updates your calendar in minutes.
Google Calendar only refreshes iCal feeds every 12–24 hours. BNB Pilot consolidates all your Airbnb, Booking.com and Vrbo calendars with Pro checks scheduled about every 10 minutes; platform publishing delays still apply.
