BNB Pilot
We fetch the feed (no auth) and display the first events locally.

How the iCal checker works

Paste any Airbnb or Booking.com iCal URL. We download the .ics, verify its validity and list the first events to catch empty feeds, bad dates or CORS errors.

What we flag

  • Download or CORS errors when the file cannot be reached.
  • Feeds without events (empty calendars or wrong property link).
  • Invalid start/end dates that could shift or hide bookings.
  • Quick view of the first 10 events to spot overlaps.

Good practices for Airbnb / Booking iCal

  1. One export URL per listing, keep it private.
  2. Refresh imports regularly: iCal is not real time.
  3. Check time zones to avoid offset on arrivals/departures.
  4. Regenerate the link if errors persist.
How do I know if my Airbnb iCal works?

If the .ics downloads, shows events and readable dates, the feed is fine. Otherwise regenerate it from Airbnb.

Why is my calendar not updating?

iCal refresh can take hours. Verify the URL, the presence of BEGIN:VEVENT blocks and the time zone.

Is iCal enough to avoid double bookings?

It helps but is not instant. Consider a channel manager or faster sync for critical periods.

What if the feed is empty?

Make sure you use the correct export URL for that property and that it has active reservations.
